Meet Bam Bam!

Nana calls our little guy Bam Bam because he is able to move this toy all around the floor with both his hands and his feet! He doesn't want to play with the hanging toys as much as he wants to move the ends into his mouth. So cute

4 Months Old!

A few weeks ago we had taken Ian in for his 4 month well check. He was 18.4 lbs (90 percentile) and 27.5 in (98 percentile). I am very excited to say that everything is going well and he is meeting all his milestones. His head is a little flat so the doctor wants Ian to sleep on a round pillow. Its very stiff and weird. And he never stays on it. The first night he had it, we woke up and it was around his feet. The next night he had maneuvered himself so that he was sleeping next to it. Well I was able to snap some pictures of the little guy laying in it!

Being Cute!

I just love these pictures so much! Ian looks like he is deep in thought in one of them. He is just so beautiful I can not resist. Its a mom thing!

Drawing!

My grammy has a lady in her ward who makes beautiful drawings from pictures of babies. My grammy asked if she would do one of Ian. She was able to complete it and we were given it as a gift for Ian's blessing. This woman did exquisite work and we currently have it up on our bedroom wall!

Ian's New Favorite Toy!

Ian and I were at DI recently, buying him new pants. Poor little guy is growing so fast that he doesn't really fit in anything that is smaller than 6 months. He is just too long. Being a typical boy, he was being fussy that he had to do shopping for some clothes. So I went over to the toy section and handed him a little kitty toy. This immediately calmed him down and he cuddled it for a very long time. I went to go put it back when we were finished shopping and he started screaming. Good thing it was only 50 cents, so I purchased it for him. He loves it so much he hugs it all the time and sleeps with it on many occasions.

Ian's First Favorite Toy!

Ian really enjoys playing with toys. Over the last few weeks, he has really started enjoying playing with all kinds of toys. His first toy that he really took interest in was a wooden spoon. I understand that this is not a toy, but he really enjoys swinging it around and sucking on the spoon.

Blessing Day!

October 10, 2010
Ian was blessed in our ward. We were lucky to have family and friends in attendance. Ian looked so cute in the same blessing outfit my dad had been blessed in many years ago. While being blessed our sweet baby was peeing into Jonathan's hand. Classic blessing story that he may never let Ian forget.
